It functions, but barely. A cheaper version w/low end materials for something that was cheap enough to begin with so no wonder it is too sensitive to the touch and sticks when pressing buttons. Try to mute w/it and typically need to prompt several times to get it to do what you want and seems to have a delay (like 'sticking', etc.). Must point it directly (perpendicular) to the TV and better be plenty close. The older ones were not so particular in that way. In other words too much 'time' and concentration is needed for a simple function w/these versions. VERY aggravating!
I pointed this out to the vendor. No reply. Guess he got his little profit so 'see ya' and good luck.!
