After my dog found and pretty much ate the original remote for my Samsung TV (and I see I'm not the only one based on reviews 😐), I researched a number of compatible remotes that cost less than the $129 OEM replacement. This one had good reviews and, for the price, was an easy choice. It appears compatible to the point where it worked out of the package after pulling out the battery shipment tab. The buttons appear very similar, maybe a little softer, but still with good mechanical feedback. All normal functions appear to work, however I could not get voice commands to work. This may be a setup issue, but I only dropped the review one star since this isn't a deal breaker for me, especially considering the price difference. It is still too new to provide feedback on longevity, solar charge capability, and battery life.
