The BN59-01315J is a compatible substitute for Samsung AA59-00741A IR TV Remote Control.
Replace a lost or worn BN59-01315J without setting anything up. This is the infrared remote Samsung included with the 2020 Crystal UHD TU7000 family, and it is the same control as the other part numbers listed below.
The button layout is the regular Samsung clicker, not the slim Smart Remote. You get power, source, a number pad, volume, channel, mute, and menu, with shortcut keys for Netflix, Prime Video, and Samsung TV Plus. Point it at the front of the TV. It will not run a cable box, disc player, soundbar, or streaming device.
Setup takes a minute. Open the battery door, install 2 AAA batteries (not included), close the door, and press Power. Nothing else to program.
