Setup
- Install two fresh AAA alkaline batteries. Match + and −.
- Stand in front of the soundbar and point the remote at the IR window on the bar.
- Press POWER, then test VOLUME and SOURCE.
This remote is IR only. It will not pair over Bluetooth, will not talk to Alexa or Google, and will not run the Philips Sound or DTS Play-Fi apps. Those stay on your phone. This remote is for everyday volume, source, and sound-mode control of the bar itself.
Not for: Philips TVs, other Philips soundbars outside the B95 / B97 / FB1 family, or soundbars that shipped only with app or HDMI-CEC control and no IR window.
