Substitute for Linear Multi-Code 4120 two button 300 mhz Visor Garage Door Opener Remote Control [RR850LM]

My old Genie just wasn't getting the job done any more. I added the Anderic and now I can trigger opening from before I turn into my driveway!

The Anderic 850LM Universal Gate and Garage Door Opener Receiver even though it was described as "universal" would not pair with the Homelink in either one of my cars. It did work perfect with the included remote.

Great quality. I was able to successfully update my old Overhead Door Corp operator to have a remote and do so at an incredibly reasonable price. Installation was very straightforward and simple. I’d definitely recommend getting this version over the name brand, they function the same but this costs less. A win in my book!

Ok. So EVERYONE says this is an easy install and most say the instructions are sufficient. I’m a decently handy guy, but I don’t intuitively understand wiring. So, I need instructions. There is no way what came in the box passes as “instructions”. (See photos.) Another review says this is to be spliced into existing wires that run from the wall-mounted, wired opener to the garage opener. But there are absolutely no instructions on how to do this. There are plenty of instructions about how to mount the unit to a wall, which is the easy part, and then there is an assumption that the installer will somehow automatically know that they are to splice and how to splice. Or am I missing a page? And so the one star. If I get a quick response from the seller with real instructions then I’ll gladly update this review.
