My bestie threw away my original remote to my fan, its been on for weeks and i finally caved and got this brand remote. In the video, they are right your ceiling fan remote is not supposed to have a pairing thingy where the battery is… By following the video instructions i finally was able to turn my fan of by remote and see my light for the first time in weeks! $40 for a replacement was worth it!
