Dish-Network 40.0 2G UHF Satellite Remote Control

This is a DISH 40.0 UHF-2G satellite remote. It controls the DISH receiver by UHF radio and a TV or other devices by infrared (IR).

Good to Know

• The receiver needs its UHF-2G remote antenna connected to the Remote Antenna input on the back panel.
• TV and other devices are controlled by IR, so point the remote at them.

Setup / Pairing

1. Insert four AAA batteries, matching the polarity marks.
2. Turn on the receiver and TV.
3. Open the receiver's front panel and press SYSTEM INFO.
4. Press and release SAT on the remote. When the remote beeps and is listed on screen, it is paired.
5. Test the remote on the receiver. If it does not respond, repeat the steps.
6. To control the TV, open the remote setup in the receiver menu, select TV, then use the TV Pairing Wizard or Lookup Code.
