Good to Know

It comes with its own receiver and remote; the existing receiver and remote are not used.
The receiver is wired into the fan; switch off the power at the circuit breaker before installing it.
Key names, layout and the look of the case differ from the original. Compare your original's buttons before ordering.

Setup / Pairing

Turn off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Unplug the old receiver and plug in the RH786R, following your fan's instructions.
Remove the remote's battery cover and set its dip switches to any setting you choose; the fan learns the setting. Install the 23A battery (not included).
Restore power to the fan. Do not press any other button before SET.
Within 60 seconds of restoring power, press and hold SET for 1 to 5 seconds.
The light blinks twice: the fan now responds to the remote.
If you pressed another button first or it does not pair, turn the power off and on again and repeat from step 3.
