Very happy to have found this replacement since the original is no longer available from Hunter. Install was simple, only catch was I had to cut the light connectors off since the gender of the shell was the opposite of the original. Only noticeable difference from the original is if you turn off the wall switch and turn it back on, it remembers the last light setting whereas the original would turn the light on regardless of the last setting. I would be nice if the wall hanger was setup to install over the wall switch like the original. Overall, a good replacement. It saved a fan that I would have otherwise had to replace.

Easy replacement of defective and supposedly obsolete control and remote. Turned off power, installed new part, turned power back on and presto, like new!!!

The remote was a bit pricey, but i was willing to pay the extra money for the peace of mind of dealing with a reputable company that knows what they're doing.

So far its good.

It only works for volume and time, not for cd playing or radio.Not what i was hoping for.
