I was afraid I wouldn't figure out how to sync the remote with my fan but it was so easy! The remote works perfectly. I hung it in the wall next to my light switches and it works without having to take the remote from its holder. Love this remote. Just know that it doesn't come with batteries and you will need an A23, not a regular triple A.

This remote works great as replacement. However, the dimmer feature does not work.
Worked immediately. The original remote from Samsung had the channel button break off. Glad you have a cheaper remote to replace the original remote. Look almost identical. Hoping this new one lasts longer!
