The Anderic KTN828 is a substitute for the Frigidaire 5304471310 remote. It is a universal air-conditioner remote with a backlit LCD. It works with Frigidaire air conditioners such as FAM18HS2AA, FAM18HS2AB and FAZ08HS1AA.

Not ready out of the box: it must be programmed to your air conditioner (SELECT key is behind a slide-down door)
Key layout and labels differ from the original remote

Setup / Pairing

Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included), matching the polarity marks. This is an infrared remote: there is no pairing; it is programmed with a code.
Method 1, programming using code input: find the codes listed for GE or Electrolux in the code section of the manual. For GE or Electrolux, the codes start with 0128, then 0129, 0130.
Press SELECT; the code section on the screen flashes.
Enter the first 4-digit code listed for GE or Electrolux (0128). The remote should now operate the AC. If it does not, repeat step 3 with the next code listed.
Once you find a working code, try the other function keys. If some keys do not respond, try a different code to see if one works more fully.
Method 2, programming using auto-search (if you do not know the brand, or the brand is not in the code table): aim the remote at your air conditioner throughout this process.
Press and hold SELECT for 5 seconds, then release. The remote enters auto-search mode and sends codes continuously.
When the AC responds, immediately press any key to save the current code.
Try the other function keys to see if the code works fully. If it does not, repeat the auto-search steps.
