Anderic FD40-H03R Ceiling Fan Receiver with Up and Down Light for Harbor Breeze Wakefield [FD40H03R]

The Anderic FD40-H03R is a 6-speed DC ceiling fan receiver with up and down light outputs for select Harbor Breeze fans, including the Wakefield.

Good to Know

• It does not include a remote control.
• You need to take the fan down to reach the receiver.

Setup / Pairing

1. Turn off power to the fan at the light switch or circuit breaker, then take the fan down and disassemble it (see the fan's manual).
2. Remove the screws on top of the motor and lift the motor housing to reach the receiver.
3. Remove the two screws holding the receiver, unplug the wire harness and remove it.
4. Connect the new receiver's wire harness; for an up light, also match the red and white uplight wires to the fan.
5. Fix the receiver with the two screws, replace the motor housing and reassemble the fan on the ceiling.
6. Restore power and, within 30 seconds, tap the LEARN key inside the remote's battery compartment. The light blinks three times and turns on when learning succeeds.

Safety: turn off power at the circuit breaker before opening the fan canopy or touching the receiver.

Troubleshooting

• Fan or light does not turn on: check power at the breaker and wall switch, the light kit wiring and the bulb.
• Fan speeds do not work correctly: make sure the receiver suits the fan, the remote has fresh batteries and matches the receiver, and the wiring is secure.
• Light does not dim: not all LED bulbs dim; use dimmable incandescent or dimmable LED bulbs.
• Intermittent operation: turn the power off and recheck all wiring connections and wire nuts.
