unfortunately, it will not dim the light. I don't have any of the original packing, I'll keep anyway.

I ordered the replacement wireless remote unit for my Harbor Breeze fan and installed it without any issues at all. The fan is blowing, the lights are lit and the world in that room is now restored to normal. Thanks for having a part that nobody else did!
So thankful I can still get remotes for my old Hampton Bay fans. The remotes work perfectly.
