I was not certain the fan remote control was the problem. Ordering a new one SOLVED the issue. Worked first time I pushed the button for the Fan or the other buttons for the light.

It doesn’t work it turns the TV on and off, but the left and right buttons do not work on it

It was a big challenge to find the right remote for my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan.
