Glad you have a cheaper remote to replace the original remote. Look almost identical. Hoping this new one lasts longer!
Great service however I found out that I didn't need a new remote , I needed a new ceiling fan. Unfortunately, I will have to return unit for a refund.
Set up was easier than I expected.

Oddly a remote wall mount holder is not included with the fan. This remote wall holder is the exact one for the remote and fits perfectly
